Vinpocetine, an extract from the periwinkle plant, is reported to have cerebral blood-flow enhancing and neuroprotective effects, and is used as a drug in Eastern Europe for the treatment of cerebrovascular disorders and age-related memory impairment.
Vinpocetine is widely marketed as a supplement for vasodilation and as a nootropic for the improvement of memory. In other words, Vinpocetine may help support brain functions such as concentration and memory by activating cerebral metabolism. A low initial dosage is often recommended.
Vinpocetine has been identified as a potent antiinflammatory agent that might have a potential role in the treatment of Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer’s disease.
We are pleased to offer our newest Baci Mi (TM) Medicinal Botanicals of Antiquity Hildegardicus Rictorius blend which contains a synergistic and potent combination of PABA, periwinkle, panothenic acid, alpha lipoic acid, ginkgo and hemp flour. Some holiday humor
A Little Christmas Story
When four of Santa's elves got sick, the trainee elves did not produce toys
as fast as the regular ones, and Santa began to feel the Pre-Christmas
pressure.
Then Mrs. Claus told Santa her Mother was coming to visit, which stressed
Santa even more.
When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about
to give birth and two others had jumped the fence and were out, Heaven knows
where.
Then when he began to load the sleigh, one of the floorboards cracked, the
toy bag fell to the ground and all the toys were scattered.
Frustrated, Santa went in the house for a cup of apple cider and a shot of
rum. When he went to the cupboard, he discovered the elves had drunk all the
cider and hidden the liquor.. In his frustration, he accidentally dropped
the cider jug, and it broke into hundreds of little glass pieces all over
the kitchen floor. He went to get the broom and found the mice had eaten all
the straw off the end of the broom.
Just then the doorbell rang, and an irritated Santa marched to the door,
yanked it open, and there stood a little angel with a great big Christmas
tree.
The angel said very cheerfully, 'Merry Christmas, Santa. Isn't this a lovely
day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Where would you like me to stick it?'
And so began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas tree.
Not a lot of people know this.

Detoxification for Fertility
I am often asked what the best methods to naturally conceive are. Oftentimes, couples have attempted IVF unsuccessfully and seek a more holistic approach. Since toxins build up in our reproductive organs 100 times more than in the rest of our bodily tissues, it is critical to detoxify the body so that one can balance one's hormones and body to set the stage for a healthy pregnancy. I recommend the following (but be sure to confer with your medical provider too):
1. Stop smoking, and drink less alcohol while increasing alkaline water intake
2. Eat plenty of organic fruits and vegetables, especially leafy greens which will help detoxify the blood
3. Eat foods high in Omega 3 fatty acids, such as wild salmon and eggs from chickens fed flax meal
4. Cleanse the colon with Happy Tummy - 1 teaspoon in a large glass of water daily for 10 days per month
5. Repopulate the colon with probiotics such as yogurt, jerusalem artichoke flour, miso (from non-GMO soybeans) or other supplements
6. Drink filtered water, to which a few drops of Willard Water or Chac Mool Blitz water has been added (this will help flush out toxins too) daily
7. Consume Chac Mool minerals - use it to season food
8. Our Master Herbalist tinctures, especially Female Reproductive or Male Reproductive and Lymph formulations assist in balancing these organ systems
9. Juice a combination of organic carrots, ginger, celery, apples and kale. Drink slowly on an empty stomach. The pulp can be used for cooking (soups, omelettes) or baking (cakes, cookies)
10. If you have a Far Infrared pad or Rainbow, use it for at least an hour daily and just after consuming any supplements or beverages for enhanced effect. You can also do a castor oil pack with a few drops of oxygenated olive oil over the abdomenal area while using the FIR equipment.
